Courtyard by Marriott Gainesville FL

I had a fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Gainesville, FL. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for my family's overnight stay — but what truly impressed me was the exceptional service and integrity of the staff. A few days after checking out, I realized I had lost a T-shirt. I called the hotel, and to my surprise, they had not only kept it safely for me but had even washed it and cleaned it so well before returning it. This level of care, attention, and honesty is rare and truly appreciated. The staff throughout the property were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Highly recommend this hotel — great stay, amazing service, and a team you can trust. I will definitely return on my next visit to Gainesville!

We loved the location and especially the staff. I forgot my stadium seat cushion, called to the hotel while we were at the university game and a member of the staff secured it for me! Room was very comfortable and it was great having an on-site eatery/bar. We can't wait to return next year!

Great place for an overnight break on way to Orlando. Very close to highway and every restaurant is within a mile radius. Reception person (I believe her name is Perry) was exceptional and felt us feel welcomed. Rooms are nice and ours had a balcony. Will certainly stay again. Thank You.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times since I have had a lot of medical procedures and appointments at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Our most recent stay was in late October, 2024. Everyone here is so welcoming and helpful. I always feel like I'm coming home when I check in. The rooms are always very clean and fresh and the same with the common areas. The beds are very comfy, too, and I've never had any issues with noise in the hotel, even with rooms on the first floor.

Very nice place and quiet away from a busy road. Nice food set up with microwave and refrigerator. Walk in shower with bowed glass doors. Good water pressure. We could walk out and sit outside the back of the hotel. We had great service at the front desk with Nicki and at the bar in the hotel Bianca was delightful.
