Courtyard by Marriott Fairfax Fair Oaks

While the location is good, it can be hard to get in and out of due to the traffic pattern. The signage as well as the parking lot is not well lit. Staff was friendly at the front desks although maids were very loud in the mornings yelling through the hall to each other. Rooms were nice enough, beds were alright. Lobby is also quite nice. I would stay v at this location again.

I've stayed here several times on business and never been disappointed. On one trip, I left something in the room and housekeeping brought to the front desk who quickly called me. Great service. There's also a convenient Hertz rental desk on site that I've used a few times.

This isn't a real Marriott, it seems like someone bought it and just slapped the name on. The front door needs more light. There's no Marriott sign, just bistro stuff, so you're not even sure where to go in. But, for me, it's all about the toilet. A bad flush is the worst. And this place? Yeah, the flush is weak. You're always worried it's gonna clog after you go.

This property has gone completely downhill. The managers are comically rude, intrusive, and seem to go out of their way to alienate their guests. They have zero respect for status or loyalty, and it shows. The building itself is run-down, with spotty cleaning and a general sense of neglect that didn’t exist before. It’s no surprise the best front-desk clerks like Will and Brayden are gone. They were the ones who actually cared. The only bright spots left are Polina and the night auditor, who still show genuine professionalism and kindness amid the chaos. To make matters worse, there are constant billing irregularities, misuse of payment methods, and ongoing pest issues, including dust mites, ants, and even rodents ithat management seems unwilling or unable to address. Overall, this hot
