Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Northwest

Solid hotel! The hotel is relatively updated and very clean. The staff is prompt and accommodating. I didn’t use the amenities as I was just there one quick night. I gave the room 4 out of 5 stars only because the heat/air conditioning unit was very loud. Everything else was great! I thought it was a nice little perk they gave rewards members both water and snacks as well.

Flew in for a team’s volleyball event. Crazy snow n ice storm. The manager and his team were great. Working with us and early check-in and an extended checkout Breakfast at the hotel was good. Lots of great options, plated not buffet. The menu for lunch and dinner was equally good. Plenty of good snack and beverage options (alcohol and non-alcohol). Hotel was clean. Rooms were comfortable. Great location to things in the area. 20 min to the airport. Lots of seating and space to hang out. Our adult mens volleyball team (Team Pineapple VLA) enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend the hotel for your small group or team. The general manager and staff were friendly and courteous.

We missed our departure out of DFW due to weather delays, and American Airlines put us up here as a “courtesy”. This hotel should not have the Marriott name associated with it. It was completely dilapidated, and I felt unsafe. Additionally, the room smelled foul, and the bathroom pocket door was soaked with precipitation, presumably due to humidity. I am thankful my husband was with me, or I would have spent the entire 6 hours that we were in the room wide awake and worrying for my safety. We checked out after we got a few winks and relocated to another Marriott and stayed there until AA could rebook our flight home||I rarely post negative reviews, but this hotel is awful and should be demolished or sold to a brand even lower quality most Suoer 8s. Positive: Close to my son's house! Price is right. Beds are comfortable. Negative: We did have an issue with the sink not draining, they came the next day and didn't fix it, but removed the drain mechanism so it didn't clog.

Excellent staff service. I lived in Room 156 excellent room with all the things that guest expects. Bar service is awesome in the bistro. staff is very funny in the bar. Overall my trip is very good with courtyard dallas.
