Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Washington Dulles International Airport, VA

We left our car here on a recent trip and stayed the night on our return. It was on the high end of the park and fly packages. Was expecting something better. The staff were friendly and we had no problems with the shuttle service. The driver was friendly, prompt and helpful. Since we had quite a bit of luggage we were upgraded to a larger room on the ground floor. It seems the property had been partially renovated. The grounds were littered and overgrown with weeds. The bedroom and bedding were clean and spacious but the bathroom had problems. It had mold and a lack of caulk. The tub was leaking and the shower did not drain properly. The water did not stay in the shower position while we were washing. Breakfast was mediocre but the attendant friendly. Both when we left and upon our ret

Nice clean room. Very cute. Mattress was way to firm for me. And they have the same extra firm mattress in all rooms so I couldn't change. Water pressure wasn't great but the water did get super hot which was nice. Room service was horrible, I do not recommend using OrderInn, use door dash or something instead. Very close to Dulles, it was a short shuttle ride.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room was neat and clean. Breakfast was great. Why then the low rating? While making the reservation I saw there was a reservation available that included parking for people traveling via Dulles Airport. When I attempted that reservation, which included parking the site said those reservations were not available. I booked a reservation and paid an additional $140.00 for 14 days parking. My vehicle is parked in the hotel parking lot, where it would have been parked if I had been able park with the parking package. That part of my experience is the reason for the lower rating.

Needed a quick night stay for work somewhere near the airport. Booked this room because it said free airport transportation, and it’s mid-price (not a $50 2 star, not a $200+ 5 star) -but to be fair it’s still not cheap for what they’re offering. I paid $115 on a third party website for a *discounted* price!! I called from the airport asking when the shuttle would be there and they rushed me off the phone first saying someone would be there in 20 minutes, then 30 minutes right before hanging up. The “shuttle “ I was expecting is a beat up little minivan. The woman driver didn’t say a word and stood still while I put my bags on, and then when I took them off myself upon arrival as well. We used this hotel to leave our car long term and was able to take their shuttle to and from the airport without a problem. We stayed here one night and was pleased despite them being in the middle of renovation. Our room was nice, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good and ready at 6am. We would definitely use them again.
