Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Tampa Airport North, FL

We had a GREAT experience at this hotel, and we will stay here every time that we go on cruises in Tampa. The hotel was super nice and clean. They had everything that we needed in the room as well. The ladies at the front were lovely and so kind. The pool and the hot tub were awesome. The workout room was nice, they had laundry, and they also had vending machines all over the place. I loved the tea, coffee and cookies, and also the breakfast was nice. Finally, there were delicious food choices very close by, and it was easy to get to the airport/cruise port with the shuttle. I highly recommend this place.

Positive: The staff! Very upbeat and accomodating, friendly. Breakfast was nice; decor was outstanding; great property, even if a lower rated than some others in the area. Negative: Not a new property. Was easily moved to a different room when they experienced hot water problem; which had already be maintenanced, but repairs could not be completed until the following Monday. Very comfortable room. Wish I had cash to tip shuttle.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Tampa Airport North, we knew we were in for a great stay. We originally intended to stay for two nights; however, upon entering our room, we immediately encountered several serious concerns. The room had a very strong cigarette smoke odor. The wooden cabinet door covering the refrigerator was broken and hanging open, creating a tripping hazard that we nearly fell over. Additionally, the bathroom did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. Naturally, we were extremely disappointed. We contacted the front desk to report the refrigerator cabinet door issue, but after waiting over an hour with no resolution, we decided this was not an acceptable experience to spend our money on.
