Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lexington, KY

First of all there was barely any breakfast and the person who was working breakfast was on their phone every-time I saw her. We had to go out and get breakfast on a Sunday where we should have been able to enjoy breakfast in our room or hotel. There was a child outside our door playing on the game loudly when we woke up!!!! We had a do not disturb sign on our door!! Come to find out it was an employees son. We asked for them to replenished the breakfast and we waited while she prepared it. What you see in the picture is what was available. Breakfast was supposed to be going until 10:30 this was around 9:30 when we went down. Also whoever was at the front desk that morning saw another child walking a dog and assumed they belonged to us because we were a black couple and this was a black ch

A clean, well kept property. I spent two nights, had absolutely no issues whatsoever. I would stay there again, no doubt about it. ||The room was very clean, comfortable, spacious. I had two good nights sleep while I was there. ||They have a pool, adequate parking, plenty of stores, restaurants very near, it’s in a good part of town, just off I-75. ||I highly recommend you stay there if you are in Lexington and want a fair priced, clean, convenient hotel. ||I think you will be glad you stayed there and saved some money.

Clean enough and quiet. TV required desk assistance. A waste basket would be helpful in the bathroom; sink stopper needs repair and toilet seat is loose. Would have liked an earlier breakfast, but the breakfast was good.

Would not stay here again for several reasons. With the location of our room we heard the traffic all night long from the very loud and busy Winchester road so hardly slept for 6 nights. Was also a huge bright spot light shining in the window so had to make sure the curtains were closed tightly. There were a couple times you could smell a horrible mildew/mold coming from the heater/ac. The bathtub was so slippery because of no mat or grips in the tub which made it really bad for us older people. The shower head was rusty, didnt turn well and you had to spend most of the time adjusting it because the water was either too hot or too cold. The bed was very uncomfortable. The refrigerator didn't work well. Full of ice and the tray was full of water. 2 light bulbs in the bathroom didn't work.

I quite liked my room here. I value a shower that actually gets hot and theirs does. The bed was thoroughly servicable and the room nice and well cleaned. They had those terrible motion detector thermostats on the wall that hotels use to nickle and dime guests by taking all control of temperature, but, they hadn't hooked them up yet and it still had wall unit control. Thankfully. The negative of this property and it has been mentioned elsewhere is street noise. I swear people drag race up and down 65 all night long, and in the morning it actually became deafening in the room. If you stay here, very much ask for a room back of building and hope.
