Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Hagerstown, MD

I stay at this hotel whenever I'm in the area for work. The people are amazing. And I really enjoy spending time with Ms. Dawn at the front desk every morning before I check out. She's great at her job but also has the best personality. She really cares about you and wants to make sure my stay was a comfortable and happy visit! I look forward to seeing her and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else because of her!

We were as usual pleased with our accommodation. Staff was polite, check-in went smoothly and room was comfortable. Two small issues. First, the shower. The pull rod for turning the shower on was near impossible to use. I finally had to engage the shower by manipulating the switch with my finger inside the tub spout. No small task. I also would recommend all showers have a saftey grab bar. At times, the tub floor can get quite slippery. Secondly, I’ve noticed the breakfast selections have gotten fewer over time. On this last trip, none of the choices interested me. On a final note, I’ve noticed not all of your locations offer a 24 hour coffee bar. When available, it’s a welcome sight.

Decent enough hotel. The lady at the breakfast area (older woman) was beyond helpful. We were stuck during the winter storm and so much was closed. The only complaint is the family across the hall has been very loud all day. It is now 11pm and we can't sleep because they're still letting their kids yell and stuff. But the hotel is close to many options for shopping and food. The mall is ok. It is small with a handful of decent stores.

The first room i walked into smelled like someone just smoked a pack of cigarettes in there. The second room was good and clean, with no smoke smell. Im giving 2 stars because the gym and breakfast area was infested with gnats. Not just one or 2. I sat my phone down to work out and it was 5-6 on it and 5-6 on my water bottle. All while being attacked by 8 to 10 while trying to work out. I went to breakfast and there were all over the bread.i had already made my plate with the eggs and sausage. Once I saw them all over the bread I threw my plate away and left.

Booked for just one night because of a wedding in the area, never had stayed at this location and was very disappointed with check in being so late in the day, although we did check in at one because of calling ahead and they did accommodate us, when we got to the room carpet was wet and the chairs in the room and check in are were all stained was so gross and old looking. Staff were super friendly and bathroom was very clean. Just grossed out with the stains on furniture and the carpet being wet
