I recently stayed at this hotel. Let’s call it a solid C on the report card of hospitality. The price was friendlier than the nearby options, which probably explains why the experience felt a bit like budget travel bingo. Check in was smooth until I discovered my key card had the personality of a decorative coaster. Back to the front desk I went, luggage in tow. Once inside, the bathroom greeted me with a clogged toilet and a few German cockroaches who apparently thought we were sharing the room. The shower offered all the pressure of a gentle drizzle and water temperature that hovered between “refreshingly cool” and “was there supposed to be hot water?” To round it out, the vending and ice room had trash overflowing like it was hosting a party no one cleaned up after. Great, friendly, clean place. Rooms were very nice! Bed could be updated. Breakfast was awesome. However need to add gluten free options. (My guest couldn't eat just had tea) Very satisfied with our stay and will be back next year.

Positive: Great manager, quiet area Breakfast was good. Negative: Water was not hot. Cockroach in room, did not feel clean due to old carpet and water damaged bar area. Needs to be renovated. Some clientele there iffy, police showed up to evict.

Upon arrival the room was very clean. AC worked great. Quiet room. The only issue was that the front desk associate indicated that the room would be cleaned every 3rd day. However, we were there for 4 days and no one showed. The trash 🗑 barrels were overflowing. We had to use Walmart bags. Other than that everything was comfortable.

Room had a weird odor. Not musty or moldy just a weird smell. The hallway was ok but a soon as you entered the room it was bad. The shower curtain rod was way too close to the inside. Would stick to your side once it got wet. Needs a curved shower curtain rod, that would help. Breakfast refrigerator that had the milk and yogurt was not keeping the product cold. Did not want to eat anything out of that refrigerator.
