Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Charlotte I-85 Airport, NC

I've been a regular at this hotel for a few years but this was the best and it all came down to Sebastian. I've always loved the rooms. I've always loved the location because it is so close to both a food Lion and a 7-Eleven. This place has always been clean and accommodating and my go to hotel. This year, however, I had the added bonus of a great kid at the front desk. His name was Sebastian. I'll be staying there again at the end of March and beginning of April and I hope to see him again because he was professional and respectful and had integrity that I don't always see at the hotels I go to around Charlotte. So for the price, absolutely hands-down amazing the rooms were clean, comfortable everything works. Nothing was broken. Didn’t see anything I can report negatively on, but I can report positively on the staff here at country Inn and suites I mean absolutely helpful patient and extremely kind I would not only stay here again, but I would also recommend it to anyone I know who might be traveling to the area. Will definitely book again! 👍

The checking experience was horrible. I was denied an opportunity to use the shuttle to the airport. There was black mold in the bathroom. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I saw cockroaches in the hallway. I will never stay at this hotel, or any of their properties ever again.

Overall, the shuttle service to the airport and back was great. I didn't get to stay long enough to really rate the breakfast but the room wasn't bad. My only issue was difficulty linking this stay to my Choice account (which the front desk didn't know how to do) and the pretty big disparity between the rate I was quoted ($87) and the actual cost of the room ($102). It would be nice if hotels would be honest and quote the actual cost of rooms instead of the pre-tax rate when you call.

When checking into the hotel, the staff could not locate my reservation through Booking.com. So we waited over 35 minutes to get checked in. We had to call Booking to get it straight, even though the reservation was booked, paid for, approved and confirmed, but the staff here couldn't find it. Once checked in, the tub was sooo high, and the floor of the tub made me feel as though it was going to cave in. First thing in the morning... there is a knock at the door, even though there is a Do Not Disturb sign on it, with someone stating, "front desk, we need to know how many pillows you have?" Who does that? I travel ALOT, and I have NEVER had the front desk go around asking, how many pillows do we have on the bed! When I called the front desk, the lady was rude, stating, that "people
