Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Albany, GA

We have mixed feelings about our recent stays here. On the positive side, the hotel lobby is very welcoming, the location is excellent, and the pricing is fair. However, we encountered significant cleanliness issues during both of our stays. During the first visit on the 3rd floor, the hallway and bedroom carpets were in desperate need of a vacuum. On our second 3-day stay (2nd floor), while the vinyl flooring felt cleaner, the linens were a major disappointment. We found makeup and unknown stains on the pillowcases and blanket sheets, and the edges of the comforter were visibly dirty. This hotel has so much potential to thrive, but management needs to prioritize housekeeping standards and modernizing the rooms to ensure it survives as a business. We stayed at this location for 3 nights. Here is what me and my family liked. There is a front desk associate that is remarkable. He name is Courtney. Wow, what an excellent representative for Country Inn & Suites at Radisson, Albany, Ga. She worked hard at accommodating her guests while taking care of front desk, responding to special requests or issues and still remained a professional. I watched this young lady handle the front desk with grace. I got tired just watching her work! I would hire her at the drop of a hat. House cleaning staff -- amazing. Our rooms were cleaned to perfection. The furniture was old but clean and comfortable. Not to mention she makes the best cookies. I would stay at this property again when visiting family. I stay here every wee for work. The satff always makes me feel like it’s home away from home. From Kim at the front desk that had never failed to help with any issue and always greets me with a smile every Monday afternoon when I check in. Lisa in the breakfast room always has a nice spread and clean dining area. Whenever the owner Joy is there when I check in she always greets with a smile as well. The room is always restocked and clean when I return late afternoons from work. All I can say is thank you to all of them. Classy people. See yall Monday afternoon.

At first glance the Inn looked beautiful fantastic, up kept and didn’t expect to find any issues. To my surprise and shock going into the room noticing first thing was the couch, it had a green cover filled with stains and tears and looked extremely dirty. Thinking it was just the cover , i wish i hadn’t even taken that cover off because that green couch was extremely filthy and even worse taking the couch bed out was insane. I went to the front desk hoping to get a roller bed but shocker it was broken. Front desk lady was very kind and offered clean sheets. Yet there was no extra rooms or accommodations unfortunately. No way of cancellation either without braiding a fee. the rooms floor was practically falling apart, the bath tub had practically a dry bar soap stuck to it. I was really di

We found this hotel worn and tired, not so bad that we would change hotels, but bad enough that we will not go back. The bigger issues were the key cards for our room door did not work. We had to get them reactivated over 10 times, pretty much every time we needed to re-enter our room. None of the staff members were apologetic, but some did offer excuses. Add to this to the Wi-Fi connection is shaky at best, again, staff offered excuses, but no apologies when Wi-Fi was out. This hotel has a great location, and while you can’t hear road noise, you can definitely hear the person in the room above you walking across the floor. This is not a location that would be recommended for the value.
