Coronado Island Inn

Location is very good , friendly services front desk . overall room is clean except for poor ventilation and privacy window on the bathroom. Need a ceiling ventilation to avoid the mold was created in the walls and ceiling and the bad smells for it too. The dining table, need to repair the peeling and fix the floor was cracking on room #7. In Additional the front door need security lock. I could not requests the changes room since not body was available in at the night we was arriving the girl Esmeralda left on the front services desk after 11:00 coming at night. :(

Granted that it was a holiday weekend, and hotels were price-gouging, this was a pretty sad room for 500.00/night. The good parts: comfortable beds and a roomy shower. From the 2nd-floor terrace, we had a good view of the 4th of July parade. The bad parts: I arrived after a long, hot drive, and just wanted to get into the room. But the hotel has no office. You have to go to a different hotel, across two busy intersections, to check in. The room has no chairs or table. A small nightstand was too far to reach from either bed, which was weird, because one bed was so close to the door that it was a trip hazard. I gave the location a 3 only because of the street noise, but I did know that could be an issue when I booked the room, the room was a great size & was tidy & clean, the staff was definitely a five! She was very very friendly & helpful:) I would definitely book again & the price fit my budget especially for the location

My wife and I came to visit my brother and his wife who summer in Coronado. We got a one bedroom room. Very nice and spacious,good location and great amenities. They have a barbecue area at the swimming pool,they supply you with bikes to ride. Walking,running and biking friendly community.

Best thing about this place is location. We walked everywhere. However, chair was put together wrong, and I fell a couple times before getting on the floor to look at the legs. The chair was put together wrong. Light fixture falling from the ceiling. Not enough towels for three nights for two people. We had three. Check-in was a mess. I used the link sent to me, and some of the form asked for information I did not understand. A bot would respond, but it wasn’t helpful. I did give my payment info, and it didn’t cross over in the system. They blamed 3rd party Expedia for my check in issues, but then also confessed they were using a new system that they were still learning. The office was across the street, across the intersection, and we were told we could come get coffee and towels anytime,
