Continental Inn

We've stayed here for a second time now, still very happy with it. Microwave and fridge in the room, GOOD wifi, there's a hot tub (which we didn't use), room somewhat more spacious than some motels. Good service. Would stay here again. GOOD VALUE.

Positive: The staff were unbelievably friendly and accomadating. The rooms were very clean and well thought out for a 2 star hotel Negative: Loud cars late at night & loud trash trucks very early in the morning. Pretty wood shutter blinds on windows, but failed to block all street lights, could still use some blackout curtains. The hottub was set to 100, felt lukewarm. Needs to be 104!

TV didn't work, a little run down, situated between two loud intersections. Clean enough, bed was comfortable enough. Dog fee felt high at $30/night. Fine enough for a one night stay.

Very nice hotel, Good location, in heart of the city. Neat and clean, very good service, hot tub is amazing. The Manager Ankit is very helpful person.

While it is a basic inn as far as amenities and layout, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nicely appointed the rooms are. It was perfect for my 4-night stay in Santa Cruz, very centrally located - you could easily walk downtown - and an excllent value considering the prices in the area. Staff are very friendly, rooms are cleaned exceptionally well each day, and the rooms are well laid out and well-equipped (even a bathtub!). I think having hardwood (or whatever laminate) rather than carpeting makes it feel classier than it would otherwise. Price was excellent on weeknights (<$100) and only jumped (by a LOT) on Friday and Saturday nights. Nice to have a parking lot and hot tub (which I didn't use). I would definitely stay here again!
