Contessa Resort

We came for my best friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time! I called up 2 days before and Captain Bob had a 2 bedroom cabin available for us. He was very nice and helpful on the phone. I arrived about an hour early to ask some questions, but didn’t expect to check in and they allowed me to, which was awesome too! The cabin was perfect, had everything we needed inside and a grill outside. The view of the lake was amazing from our deck. Captain Bob’s daughter was also really sweet! I had an issue with figuring out how to lock my door, and she came down and helped me and was very kind. The property is awesome, with the marina, pool, basketball court, volleyball, and a playground. We were able to launch our paddle boards off at the marina as well and the staff was very friendly. we were there just for the weekend in the pet friendly cabin . Had an amazing time , owner and his daughter were super nice and helpful . Cabin was clean with everything needed for the stay plus gas grill outside ! the view from the deck was so nice and relaxing ! I was able to launch paddle board from the marina !

We were in a pet friendly cabin. It was very clean and neat. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels in our bathroom. The bathroom had an awesome heat fan which I loved always being cold. Our room had a spectacular view of the lake and nothing like waking up to the sun rising in your windows. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our pontoon boat was perfect. The peach trees were delicious on the property. Bob, his daughter Christina and Jermaine, one of the boat staff were a ten plus!|We even found a doggie daycare in Queensbury- Room for Paws, that did a superb job daily watching our dog while we were out on the boat. We will definitely return to Contessa Resort. Ten plus. Thanks for the great stay! Mike, Denise and Josie!

My boyfriend and I booked a 6 night vacation in lake george. We stayed at the same hotel we did on our last trip. Management had changed since then so our stay wasn't as accommodating as last time, sadly. However, we decided to extend our trip and to stay one more night but everywhere in town was booked for labor day weekend. I decided to search for places in Bolton Landing, a town over from lake george. I found Contessa Resort online and booked a room for an incredibly affordable and low price. They didn't jack the price up for the holiday like every other hotel was doing. They also gave us an early check-in knowing we had to be out of our other hotel and had nowhere to go. My husband and I along with my sister and her husband stayed at the Contessa this weekend, we had a FANTASTIC time! Christina could not have been more helpful. Christina was a pleasure to deal with and any questions I had she answered them promptly. The cabin was clean and the crew were very nice. I would definitely recommend The Contessa Resort to anyone that was going to vacation in lake George .
