My husband and I recently stayed at The Sagamore Resort, originally booking the trip as a relaxing getaway from NYC. While researching the resort beforehand, we did not come across reviews that clearly identified it as a family-focused resort, which came as a surprise upon arrival. We have nothing against a family-friendly setting; however, had we known this in advance, we likely would have chosen a different hotel for our vacation. That said, the resort grounds are beautiful, with stunning lake views, and the staff were truly wonderful. From valet to waitstaff to bartenders, everyone was exceptional! Kind, attentive, and welcoming! Many staff members remembered our names and greeted us warmly each time we crossed paths, which made the experience feel very personal. The staff are absolute

Our family Loves spending Christmas at the Sagamore. We arrived to the lobby tastefully decorated for Christmas including a replica of their Grill Steakhouse in Gingerbread. We were given a memorable resort ornament in a gold box at check in along with a detailed program outlying the fun activities from smiling Hannah. There were delicious treats and beverages in the lobby later. Our family of 4 had hydra facials, they were the best, Spa folks nice and professional. Caldwell’s is fun and sunny off the lobby for relaxing lunches or drinks and La Bella Vita Christmas Eve and Night could not have been better. We especially liked the gingerbread cookies handed out when being sat for dinner. Chose in room dining both days for breakfast delivered on point. We chose the Burger bar our las

Great time visiting Sagamore over MLK weekend. We stayed in a hermitage one bedroom suite, its was large and well stocked. The bathroom is on the 2nd floor, which is a bit inconvenient. We brought our dog and there are lots of walking trails. People in our group went into the outdoor hot pool and loved it. Room service and restaurant was delicious as usual. Highlight was a lovely bottle of champagne in our room as a gift for our anniversary. We will definitely return.

We had an awesome visit to the Sagamore. It is such an impressive resort in an awesome part of NYS. The staff were great and helpful at every turn. Concierge set us up for daily hikes. Field house staff were great with the kids. And the front desk staff and valet team were helpful and wonderful to engage with. This was our second visit and just as good as the first. Meals were good. Fireplaces were great. We will be back soon!

The Sagamore Resort was a beautiful stay. We stayed in the lodge, and the main hotel and conference areas were especially well decorated and elegant. The setting felt secluded, and the views were beautiful. The catering was well done and beautifully presented. While the dessert selection was chosen by our event planners and leaned less sweet than I personally prefer, it was still very tasteful and nicely executed. The only downside for us was nighttime comfort. The bedroom area in the lodge was very cold, so we ended up sleeping in the living room by the fireplace, which was much more comfortable. Also, since our free day was a Sunday, there were very limited activities available. Overall, it’s a lovely resort, and I’d return in the spring or summer when more activities are offered and
