Comfort Suites Palm Desert I-10

I was here 3 nights. Staff Great Location Great Felt safe walked to diner and grocery store each night. Check in/out great staff I see they are doing some updates. Breakfast area POOR everyday the speakers cracking no music just a hmmm. Area very dirty not sure how the were rated an “A” by the county. Chairs need cleaned. Tables never got washed in the three days I was there. Dust so thick on food equipment. I guess that is why the cups were wrapped in plastic. Constantly out of food. Elevator needs a good cleaning. My room CLEAN!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10 I give the room an 8.

Nice place. Great breakfast with lots of options. Friendly helpful staff. Roomy room. Lots of cable TV stations. Easy access to I-10 and walking distance to stores and eateries. Easy commute to Palm Springs and its airport.

Was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is always good. My only complaint is the bathroom sink. I like to be able to fill the sink with water to wash my face. The plug on the sink does not work and I think it's the same every time I've stayed at this hotel. Should not be a difficult repair.

I made this reservation in October & received both a text & email confirmation of my December date. I also received an additional confirmation December 1st from Choice Hotels for my "upcoming stay". However, when I arrived at 8:45pm to check-in, Tony, the front desk clerk told me my reservation had been "cancelled because the credit card" I used for the initial reservation had been "charged at 6:00pm & was declined" so my room reservation had been cancelled. This confused me & I asked Tony, "how could my credit card be charged & declined at 6:00pm when I wasn't even here checking in?" Tony then told me "an email had been sent" to me "about the cancellation", but I had not received said email. I know industry standard holds a room reservation with a credit card until the following morning a

The front desk people were so kind and welcoming both when we made our reservation and when we checked in. We love that it’s dog friendly, and they were very attentive to take care of minor housekeeping issues. We will definitely stay there the next time my son comes to town.
