Comfort Suites Lancaster Amish Country

Started off on a bit of an iffy note, but ended up enjoying our stay. The front desk really wasn’t friendly at all upon check in. As a matter of fact he didn’t even speak in complete sentences. He said; checking in, zip code, insert your card, here’s your room number. That all he said. Then go to the room and no soap. So back down to ask for some. He handed me two bars after I asked him without saying a word. He wasn’t mean, but surely not welcoming. ||Other than him, everyone else was extremely friendly. The breakfast attendant and all the other women that were at the front desk were always welcoming and friendly. ||No issues with cleanliness. All looked good. Everything in working order. Would have been 5 stars but our room had Cheetos on the rug and some kind of debris that wasn't vacuumed up. Also there was less than a half roll of toilet paper and a few towels. Easily remedied by going to the front desk. Otherwise thestaff was excellent, breakfast tasty and super clean with plenty of options, exercise room and pool were fantastic and the location is awesome. Affordable for a family of 5 to stay in one room too.

Excellent 2-night stay. Hotel was wonderfully clean in public areas and we felt very safe inside and out. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast - limited options but the scrambled eggs were outstanding. Loved the all day coffee service in the lobby area. Room was very clean and comfortable - A/C worked great, toilets flushed properly, tub/shower diverter operated perfectly, adequate towels. We chose this hotel for the proximity to Dutch Wonderland since that was the purpose of our trip. We walked to/from hotel and DW, which took about 15-20 minutes one way to do so, but it was comfortable for our group (2 adults in mid60s, one adult with Down Syndrome, one family of 5 with a double stroller). The rooms are very nice. I love the seating area. The beds are super comfortable. I did find it unsettling that there's only 1 elevator for 3 floors but it must be to code. The coffee machine is also a big disappointment, but it sounds like they were finally going to get it fixed the day we left.

I'd stay here again. Receptionist was friendly. The rooms were clean. The dining room was exceptionally crowded at late breakfast due to sleet during the night, but the food lady did a great job hustling and keeping everything stocked with such a large crowd.
