It was easy to book my room at the last minute. My room was very comfortable. I had spent 10 hours at the hospital with a family member & & my room was very comforting. I was too tired to even go out to dinner so I had picked up a frozen meal at Walmart, I heated it up in the microwave & had dinner in bed while watching tv. I slept well in the clean & comfortable bed.

Undisclosed $3 safe fee. They used to have a sign that said they would remove it if you didn't use the safe. They don't have that sign any more. I asked to have the fee removed on my most recent stay. They said they had refunded it, and even gave me an invoice that showed the refund. But on checking my statement they actually charged me twice and refunded it only once, robbing me of $3. It's not a lot, but it's the hassle and the principle. This is the only hotel in the WORLD I've been to that charges guests a fee to use the safe - and doesn't even tell them beforehand or advertise this in their listings. We are extremely upset with poor service and rude staff in this establishment. Our family was going through a really tough time with my mom being transferred to Shands in very critical state. We picked Comfort Suites because I always liked this hotel. I have never dealt with this kind of rude behavior from the staff. I had accidentally spilled my juice on a comforter working late at night. As no cleaning staff available this late we changed our sheets ourselves. The next day we were sleeping in our hotel room with DND sign on our door when someone started banging on our door. Turns out it was the staff demanding we give them $150 for the sheets. My partner asked them to leave since we were working all night and had to go take care of my mom soon. Not even an hour later the phone in the roo
