Comfort Inn & Suites Patriots Point

We stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites at Patriots Point and had a great experience. The location is a huge plus—it’s super close to the USS Yorktown, and we didn’t have to deal with any traffic at all getting there, which made our plans so much easier. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is getting ready to renovate, but even with that, they’re clearly taking good care of the property and doing a solid job keeping everything safe and clean. The free breakfast was really good, with plenty of options. It’s hot, buffet-style, and they also have a make-your-own waffle station, which was a fun bonus. Overall, this is a great place to stay—clean rooms, friendly staff, and an unbeatable location near Patriots Point. Would definitely stay here again.

We saw the positive revews and booked the hotel for 3 nights. It turned out to be a bad experience as the room provided to us and our friends were smelly and it made us to just come back only when required. As no cancellation was possible so we had to stay in those rooms. I guess based on the rooms your experience may vary. We were in first floor I would certainly not recommend those rooms.

I spent a couple/few days here and it was very nice overall. Not a 5 but a strong 4. The rooms were above average. Service was good. Breakfast was very good. They provided a nice Hospitality room for our Navy Reunion. Shuttle was great and a very short distance to Patriot Point. I would stay again if I was in the area.

I think this hotel is located so conveniently to many attractions in nearby Charleston. It's well maintained, it's quiet from traffic and other noises. Breakfast is good and plentiful. The only negative remarks are: I previously stayed on the second floor and think I prefer that since on the first floor I had to keep my curtains shut for privacy - there was a maintenance ladder and large A/C unit right outside my window. Also, the room I was in this time had the tiniest bathroom I've ever been in with no exhaust fan - the humidity reeked havic with my hair!!!!!!!!!!

The room was very nice and extremely clean which, together with the very friendly staff, we really appreciated. However, there was a musty smell in the room which can likely not be tolerated if one has a sensible nose. The breakfast had nice options and therefore can be assessed as well above average. The location enables you to quickly reach the USS Yorktown museum as well as the ferry to Fort Sumter. Also, one just has to cross the nearby bridge to reach downtown Charleston (8 min).
