It was an older hotel under major renovation. Sheetrock dust everywhere downstairs. Workers moving furnishings everywhere. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was slightly dusted off for a slim breakfast. Hopefully it will be better, though it's being done by the owners and family, it appears.

I booked a one night stay for my daughter and son in law in Dallas for his birthday and was extremely disappointed. The front desk staff was rude from the start and within minutes of being in the room they saw a roach on the ceiling. They immediately asked for a refund because they did not feel safe staying there and did not want to risk bringing roaches home to their children. The staff said a refund could not be issued without a manager and offered to move them to another room instead. The second room also had a roach within minutes which shows there is clearly an infestation. They left right away and still have not heard from a manager. This place should not be accepting peoples money knowing there is a roach problem. I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel is A Conplete scam! Do Not Stay Here, once you check in they will point to a sign that says they can keep your deposit if you dont ask about it. Then the will charge you an extra deposit! The deposit of $60 I put down, I thought okay whatever I can deal with that but then when you check your bill they have charged you another $43. And if you ask anyone, "hey, why is there an extra 43 dollars charged"? The reaponse, "I dont know." It should come back when the deposit is refunded. But it doesn't. This hotel is going to steal from you then gaslight you like they don't know what they're doing. This hotel is GARBAGE do not stay here, literally anywhere else is a better choice!

I understood you are in construction, but debris was scattered outside the motel. The motel had an odor. But our room was clean in the shower was nice. Breakfast was good but the cook didn’t speak one way to anyone and was not friendly whatsoever. The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful.

Positive: They are undergoing renovations, so the hotel should be higher quality soon. Negative: The area was incredibly dangerous. There were people doing (and possibly selling) drugs in the parking lot. The elevator did not work. We had to wait 15 minutes when we got there for someone to show up to the front desk. The hotel smelled of weed.
