Comfort Inn & Suites Houston West-Katy

The room was good, however the pool area was dirty, pieces of the floor are breaking and was all in the pool. Couldn't use the hot tub or the fitness room. The cost of the dryer and didn't even dry any of the clothes. It's a great location but when you are next to another very nice hotel your standards should be higher. Also walking outside the front door the trash can was over flowing the whole weekend we were there.

Very friendly staff to start with. Rooms were spacious with all amenities good. Breakfast can be better as items were cold and less options. location is an advantage within few miles to Katy Mills.

I stay here often, and the place has come a long way in the six years I have been coming here. The WiFi did not work at all while I was there this past time. This always seems to be an issue, especially since you switched to DirectTV. I asked for bedding for the pull-out couch, and I was told by the lady at the front desk that they did not have bedding for the pull-outs. I also asked for a "Do Not Disturb" sign, and I was told she would bring me one. I never received it. I made my own. When I addressed the WiFi issue I was totally ignored.

An old hotel, l mean every thing is older. So don’t expect much. Have stayed in several choice hotels in different places. This is definitely a lower grade one. It seemed to me it was converted from an old warehouse to hotel some 20 or 30 years ago. You can image how good that would be.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. As usual I tried to find lodging close enough to my obligations in town to be convenient but far enough away to save a few bucks. I lucked out with this one. The rooms were spotless and newly furnished. Everything worked well, including the hot shower, aircon and very comfy bed. The bathroom back-lighting was a little weird, but overall the spacious room was well designed with plenty of storage space and charging ports. The staff were uniformly polite and efficient, and the property felt safe. Although it’s quite some distance from downtown, there are abundant shopping and food choices in the area, so you won’t have to travel far for those. Good, reasonably priced choice.
