Comfort Inn & Suites Cartersville - Emerson Lake Point

This hotel is nice and convenient to get to. Parking seems to be a non-issue, even when I came back from dinner after 11pm. The room was clean and the entire hotel is well maintained. There were a few places where I noticed the carpet in the hall was very worn and there was even what looked like a small hole worn in the carpet. Likely due to the housekeeping carts. The room was in good shape but there were a few small issues. 1st the door wouldn't close if you didn't pull it shut. When I first arrived at the room, the door was already open / not-latched. After checking in I had to retrieve something from my car and when I came back the door was unlatched again. For some reason it's unable to close on it's own. Positive: Comfort bed, clean aside from some crumbs left on the carpet, friendly staff, decent hot breakfast Negative: After unpacking all of our belongings, we had to move to another room because the TV didn’t work. Room was nice and clean. There was an issue with our door that you couldn't deadbolt it. I told the front desk and they took care of it promptly. The continental breakfast was great on Friday. Saturday wasn't as good, but Sunday was better. Very convenient location to the Clarence Brown Conference Center, Walmart and many restaurants. Price was reasonable for three days. I would return again.

Walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors clearly. Vent didn't work in the bathroom. Hall floor was not mopped the whole time we were there. Our room key needed reset every morning. The staff was nice. Breakfast was okay but I ate close to closing time and some employees were in line before me and other guests. Worst part was the condescending response to my review sent to Comfort Inn. It was close to everything we needed.

The people are super friendly the rooms are really nice. Looks like there are several options for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
