Comfort Inn & Suites Ballpark Area

First off if I didn’t has to give a star I wouldn’t. If I could get all my money back I would. First approaching the hotel you just get the feeling this is not gonna be good. Walk in service attendant was not welcoming. We get in room after being told we got upgraded. Well walking out the elevator all we smelled weed and cigarettes. Get into room it’s HORRIBLE. Smells and looks like they just had a party. Walls must of had throw up on it. Bathroom had hair on it. Our allergies kicked in super fast which is why I requested smoke free level. We left asked service what can they do to make it better. He tried to give us a room on same floor absolutely not. He then gave us another room. We had no other choice to stay after calling several hotels they couldn’t accommodate or stay. The new room d

I made reservations online and check in was flawless. The young woman at the front desk was very accommodating. She was able to answer all of my questions. She made sure to explain the policies and amenities to me. There was an issue with my toilet that was promptly addressed by the maintenance supervisor. He was very sweet and made sure to inform me that it was no trouble and should I have any other issues that he would return. As I travel to Atlanta weekly for work, I will definitely be staying here again.

Booked a quick 1-night stay because my daughter was taking the LSAT nearby early the next morning. Pros: all of the employees I interacted with were very nice. Cons: the bedsheets were stained and had makeup smeared on them, shredded curtains that didn’t fully block the light, the outlet between the beds didn’t work which included the bedside lighting, very little hot water, no bath towels (we were told this was a regular issue so they keep a stack at the front desk), air conditioner kept shutting off so room wouldn’t cool below about 75. All in all, it could have been worse, but if given a choice I won’t stay there again.

I’ve stayed at this Comfort Inn & Suites several times before without major issues — nothing fancy, but for about $70 a night it used to feel safe enough. A kind gentleman at the desk always put me on the third floor, and that made my stays comfortable. This time was completely different. I was placed on the ground floor, directly facing the parking lot entrance, with shredded curtains that didn’t even close. As a woman traveling alone, it felt like I was on display to anyone walking by. There were police cars outside when I arrived, and later that night I heard gunshots in the area. With my window exposed, I didn’t feel protected or private for even a moment. Rooms do not look like the pictures! Smells of smoke, holes in the wall, breakfast sucks! Would not refund my money! Definitely a 1 star hotel that gives motel vibes! Not clean! Think it needs better owners and management because current ones are greedy and give poor service!!
