Comfort Inn & Suites Austin North Loop

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. There was no hot water in the shower (it was available at the sink, but that is not helpful for bathing). They did not offer any solution for this other than to come up and confirm that it was not something I was doing. Check in was not very helpful and they may or may not have billed me correctly since my invoice from the desk does not match the CC charge. I am waiting to see if they actually refund the amount charged in error or not. The club next door is also a big problem. Even with the AC running and my phone playing white noise at full blast I could not drown out the driving bass. I am not normally sensitive but when this is happening at 2 am and you have a presentation in the morning it is not fun. The neighborhood is not great. Breakfast was pre

I have stayed at many choice hotels around the country and this was the nicest room. It was so clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a great breakfast. They made it very easy to stay here.

We previously stayed here and submitted all sorts of problems with this Comfort Inn. We gave it another chance and nothing had changed. Front desk staff is not at all friendly, the flooring in the common areas are dirty, extremely worn and disgusting. The carpet in our accessible room is even worse. It was extremely dirty and worn and smelled extremely terrible. Shampoo & lotion containers were empty. The tub/shower had no anti-slip mat; we had to go out and buy one because it was too slippery for my handicapped wife. The rate was $116 plus fees, a fair rate would have been $50 for this dump.

Main issue : Club next door and noise till 6 am !! : Ok , so i did read reviews for this hotel and didn’t really pay attention to the dates of the last reviews and so it has been a year since anyone reviewed . Don’t make my mistake. Make sure you only read recent date reviews because no one warned me there is a club next door that you can hear all night and still going on at 5 : 24 am as I am writing this review. Lol ! Are you serious ?? Who opens past 3 am ? I was able to sleep through around 1 am since I was so sleepy but the noise woke me up at 5 am ! Now this is not the hotels fault but do not book here if you are a light sleeper. I was only there one night so I didn’t bother to move rooms. I did talk to the front and the guy was nice and said he will contact the 311 n

This was quite a relaxing experience, and the service was top notch. I even left my laptop charger in the room and since they cleaned it right then they brought it down to me as I was leaving! But also the breakfast is great and clean, there is lots of parking, and it's right off the highway. Don't pass this one up!
