Comfort Inn & Suites Arlington Heights - Schaumburg

Clean comfortable rooms. Good value for the area. Was pleasantly surprised with breakfast as I was told it was a continental breakfast. Parking lot could have been cleared of snow better. Walls a bit thin. Look like room had been updated, shower/tub could use some updating/repair.

Positive: It was clean-the room was clean and updated but the bathroom was NOT. The tub/shower looked like it was from the 50's with low water output from the shower. The phone didn't work. The General Manager was the best thing about this hotel! Negative: The front desk personnel. They were always holding their personal phones and talking on them when helping people check-in and out or had personal earbuds in talking to friends.They were only at the front desk when someone came up.

I can confidently say this is a fantastic hotel. The manager here cares very much about guest experience and exceeding hotel standards. This is very clear with the property cleanliness, excellent housekeeping, great breakfast selection and always/cleaned refilled in a timely manner. Staff are polite, friendly, hardworking, and efficient. The guests were also very respectful, quiet and parking was adequate. I think there are many choices for hotels, but this one should be at the top of the list for your Chicago stays. Don't plan on anything more than sleeping in this hotel. Room was dirty with debris on the floor and a water bottle that didn't belong to me. Toilet had fecal matter on it and seat was loose (I tightened it and it's better than when I got there). It was a great location for my trip but the wifi was not operating for my floor and the thermostat was broken so I could not tell what it was set at. It was convenient that there was a Continental breakfast. It didn't feel clean. I won't be staying again.

We were very satisfied with our time at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and also very professional. The room met our needs and more. They have several Handicap Parking spaces, and we did not have any problem finding a parking space. We needed to extend our reservation for one extra day due to illness in the family in Chicago, and they did it very well without any problems. We really enjoyed this hotel and we are looking to go back when we will be visiting our family in Chicago again.
