Comfort Inn Sault Ste. Marie MI

The room was warm, comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast had a good variety and was very nice. On our way home, I realized that I had forgotten my Fitbit on the nightstand, so I called the hotel right away. Jackie at the front desk took it to Pak N Ship Xpress, who securely packaged and shipped it to me. I had my Fitbit back in 5 days, which was amazing!!! Jackie was very sweet, helpful and understanding. I really appreciate all her assistance. :)

Room was well kept, no scrapes or holes in the walls. Carpet good, appliances up to date. Location was perfect, just a few minutes to national chain restaurants, or the Canadian Border. Only real gripe was the lack of salting, temp fluctuated above and below freezing the couple of days I was here and rained part of the day. No salt when I arrived or when I left on the side entrances. Continental breakfast was lackluster, eggs and sausage patties, decided to skip my second day.

Clean, comfortable & convenient stay. Some parts are older but working as needed. Price was great for our 1 night stay. The breakfast had a nice variety. Only complaint, the coffee was super hot and tasted burnt.

My friend and I stayed here during a recent visit to the Mackinaw Island area. We were traveling with a group from Diamond Tours. The motel needs to be renovated. The carpet is old and the rooms look dated. Our bathroom shower had mold & mildew on the ceiling from a leak in the ceiling. Also, our room smelled musty. We did not have a "Do not disturb" hotel sign for our door or laundry bag for dirty clothing. The bright spots of my stay were the clean comfortable bed and the continental breakfast.

Had a wonderful experience throughout my stay here. It started with amazing customer service from Randi in the lobby, she was so personable and welcoming, made sure I had everything I needed. Check-in was a breeze, the room was clean and spacious, had all the amenities I needed and the bed was super comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel!
