Holiday Inn Express Sault Ste. Marie, an IHG Hotel

I stayed a night for work. The staff were all really nice, the room was clean and appointed as expected, the pool and hot tub were great, and it's right at the end of 75 before the border crossing. Everything is needed to get to was 6 minutes away. I don't know how many hotels are in the area, but I'll definitely stay there if they send me back.

What a nice surprise! This hotel has been newly renovated and was great. The decor is really nice, great colors both lobby and room. We had a suite that surprised us with 2 bathrooms (also had 2 rooms with 2 TVs)! Everything was very clean and most importantly bed and bedding were really comfortable. Unlike many hotels, the air/heating was NOT super noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby was really nice as well with lots of places to sit. Free coffee, nice pool. Breakfast is minimal and just okay. We didn’t use it, but I was impressed that they had a nice swimming pool and that it has an accessible lift.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I was expecting standard and received excellence, from the front desk to the room itself. The hotel is clean, updated and in a quiet location close to the local university and convenient to everything. I appreciated the hospitality, the warmth and kindness shown at the front desk. He went the extra mile. I forgot his name but give him a bonus and a raise. He helps to make the hotel shine. Our room was nice and clean, stocked with the things we needed and our bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also good and included continental and hot breakfast items, such as hot cinnamon rolls, breakfast potatoes, sausage links, eggs and so forth.

Positive: Dj was the best. I needed to be checked into the hotel early and he was able to get me in two hours early. That man is incredible. He made sure I was in my room by 2 o’clock so I can get to where I was going by 4pm. Thank you again so much for your help. Negative: ""

What a clean, nice place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly-gave us some great suggestions for dining. The pool was very clean, and warm -and the hot tub was amazing. We loved our stay-and a special shout out to all of the front desk workers-what a great job. This stay was really enjoyable and relaxing.
