Hampton Inn Sault Ste Marie

This Hampton was among the best service we’ve ever received at a Hilton property. We were working in the middle of a blizzard and our stay was extended. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our trip was excellent. I went searching for hot tea in the afternoon and the water wasn’t very warm. The gentleman at the front desk ran right over to get fresh hot water! The breakfast staff was friendly, courteous and offered assistance without even being asked. Everyone at this hotel was so incredibly nice and friendly. It made what could have been a difficult trip into a pleasant and enjoyable time. Thank you to all that work there! 😊

After an extremely unfortunate situation left us stranded at 9 p.m. without a place to stay, the Hampton Inn came to our rescue. The staff was absolutely incredible—especially the night desk attendant, who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His kindness and genuine concern for guests truly stood out and turned a stressful night into a positive experience. On top of that, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The shower was hands-down the best I’ve ever had at any hotel—and I’ve stayed in quite a few! We were so grateful to find such a wonderful place and such caring staff when we needed it most. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

The walls and floors are extremely thin you can hear everything.. the air fresheners are so over powering you can taste it and is nauseating. I stayed here over the weekend with my son and had to call the front desk because the neighbors and people above us had children yelling and screaming running around until 2 am. If you want a good night’s sleep I recommend staying at the comfort inn. They also do not offer any veterans discounts which I found disrespectful.

I hate it here. I'm on my 3rd week of staying here this winter and I never sleep worse anywhere. You can hear a pin drop through the wall in the next room. Someone was snoring in the room next to mine and they could. My other rooms were not much better. I'll stay anywhere else for my next trip up. Nice staff but if you can't sleep here, then there's no making up for that fact.
