Comfort Inn Lehigh Valley West

The reception and workers were nice at the hotel, but there was a mold problem in my room. I was fine until I went into the bathroom and within 10 minutes I would get a rash on my face. I didn't realize util the last night when I looked up and saw a lot of black mold above the bulkhead which was above the mirror. I had kept the bathroom door closed and only opened it when I needed to use it, but I am so very allergic to mold that I was getting a rash every day and it was affecting my lungs. The next morning I went in the bathroom and looked closer and saw there was definitely mold. I told person working the front desk, he was apologetic and he asked me to write my name and phone number down and the manager would give me a call. I never received a call from anyone.

We stood at this hotel after after having home issues during the storm. my husband got in the shower to take a shower when he lungs down the train started spinning up, nasty hair and all the nastiness from the drain Just thought that if you were seen it, you was vomit because now you got God forbid other people’s crap and stuff coming from the drain of the tub. The shower was spitting water everywhere. My husband went to the front desk and see if there was somebody that could come and fix it. They gave my husband a plunger so he could plunge out the tub to see if it’ll work cause he has. My husband is a handyman. As my husband is plunging out the tub to get the water to go down massive amount of people’s hair was coming out of the drain with all types of dirt in nastiness Nobody was in the

Everything about our stay at this Comfort Inn was wonderful. The hotel is pet friendly and our room was on the first floor. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. The room was great, quiet with confortable beds and everything was super clean. I stayed here for five nights and enjoyed my stay a lot. They even have bar with fun staff. I just moved to the Lehigh Valley and this was the perfect way to start my life here.

I used to work in hospitality. So I will be honest, the front desk staff could be more polite. In the elevator was a menu of what the bar offered at night when open. I went to the bar and they didn’t have much at all. Please update the menu or remove it. The room was okay, but there was a mail sticking up where the carpet and tile meet. And the shower curtain had stains. I think the attention to detail could be better.

Original room was nice but did not have a remote for the tv. We wound up switching rooms and it was a bit more dated (paint peeling and dingy). Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Hot breakfast in the morning that was good. There is a mini bar with food in the lobby. Front desk service was super nice! Walls are a bit thin.
