Comfort Inn Cockatoo Near LAX Airport

UPDATE: We received a phone call and they were able to accomdate us into a room with two beds for the rest of our stay. Very much appreciate it, only downside is we slept on the floor for 1 night. This is my 3rd and last time staying at this hotel. This third time was different, I arrived to the hotel and upon check-in the lady at the front desk told me that I had cancelled my reservation. I told her that is not true and that I even paid upfront for the reservation and provide her a receipt and show her my card was charged. After I did that she went ahead and change her story and came clean saying that they had sold all the rooms including ours since they though I wasn't going to make it in. Then she said nvm we have a room but its a 1 bed only, she says this while looking at all of us, I

I had stayed at a different Choice hotel before and had a not very good experience but had no complaints about the cleanliness. I was looking for a place to stay throughout New Years at LA last minute and couldn’t find anything, and what it was left was very overpriced, so looking through the map I found the Comfort Inn and looking into the reviews, it seemed to have better reviews than the Hotels around it. And since I remember they use Hospital grade cleaners, we decided to stay there. It was better than expected, of course I like that the sheets are clean and crisp white with no smells. It was very nice and a great plus that there was a mini kitchenette. I read people complaining of the smell of cleaners but I didn’t mind because I rather know it is clean. The only downsides is tha

I booked this hotel for short business trip and location was good tho.Yes from downtown of Santa Monica you need a ride or take a metro but peacefully stay in here room is so big and clean only thing bit annoyed is thin wall or I don’t know maybe my next room was too noisy.

Easy booking process. Fantastic price! Was able To get into the room earlier than checkin time. Waited in the cute lobby and watched tv. They offered infused lemon water! Was sooo good! The rooms had full sized fridge & microwave! Very clean. Asked for extra blankets and wasn’t a problem. Guest area out front is decorated super chic! Lots of room to eat and enjoy even dinner with the family on vacation! Unfortunately we had to check out early and didn’t get the opportunity to have breakfast!

Second we walked into This la location we were immediately greeted by a very nice lady. We were a few hours early before check-in so we all just hung out in the lobby, which was super comfortable. She turned the TV on to spidey for the children . They made a fresh batch of lemon infused water. Coffee available anytime. Cute decor in the lobby. They have a heated pool & vending machine with quite a few options. The room had pool view, Comfortable beds, full-size fridge, full-size microwave, sink area. Cable & offer room service. Very close to a lot of places to eat. We checked out early so we won’t weren’t able to have the complementary breakfast which was a bummer. Maybe next time.
