Comfort Inn Bessemer Birmingham South

I was there with a friend due to long time driving home. Nice room was available and price online. The area was kinda sketchy. The bed was comfortable and everything was working. Than goodness it was a peaceful stay. Relaxing and enjoyable. I was happy my vehicle was not bothered during the night. The staff was great.

We found the staff to be courteous and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Fridge and microwave worked well. Breakfast was good if you get there before they run out of some things. Cable tv service. Towels were nice!

We stayed Friday/Saturday of a football weekend. Were late checking in but everything went smooth. Our room was on the first floor close to the laundry area. Had a separate seating area. We did use refrigerator/coffee maker. Hotel overall was quiet. First floor we hear very little noise from parking lot and hallways. King bed was comfortable.||Plenty of restaurants nearby. Have to give a shout out to our maid who found a small make up bag after we checked out and contacted us. Luckily we were across the street at the Cracker Barrell eating. ||Would stay again.

Hotel manager didn't seem to understand that we had a standing reservation for this weekend. We were no put in a room on the 3rd floor as requested. This was the second straight stay that our request was not followed. We noticed several rooms near cleaned and ready fore guests at 7 PM; the hall doors were open. Sunday morning breakfast was poorly stocked as there was no bread for toast; very few tapestries were available; and the eggs were overcooked.

Score would have been perfect except for the mildew/mold between tiles, and around the top of the tub in the shower. You should give that some attention. Otherwise....everything was great....clean room, comfortable beds, quiet. Had some issue with the key working in the room door....
