Customer Reviews
This is a pretty nice golf course. Got good off-season prices. $26 for 18 holes in the afternoon. It's hard though. Most of the greens are rimmed, meaning they don't have a slow slope going up, just a quick steep slope and then flat so you gotta be good at flops and chips. It's a good course to learn.
Course overall is nice . Waited an hour and 15 minutes at the first tee box to hit , course Marshall wouldn’t let me play the 18th hole at 5:20 . I got to the first tee box at 12 . No discount or anything offered and not the nicest course Marshall . Weird vibes
Ive been playing out here for 25 years and after the tornado it got a little better but since it's done nothing but go downhill. The people are jerks, the course is always in terrible shape, they never cut the greens, and you spend the entire round dodging balls flying from three fairways over. The worst part though is good luck playing 18 holes in less than 6 hours. Last time I played here I said never again, but decided to give it one more chance. This time I mean it.
No rules posted anywhere online before coming to the course which would’ve been nice considering it was mine and my buddies first time. Every worker (Marshall’s, front cashier, the shack worker) in this place acts like it’s the biggest inconvenience that we were there and gave us the hardest time because we had one extra body. Which is understandable but no one told us anything until we all already payed. The course isn’t all that great either especially the grass and all of the carts are either ragged out or have no tread on the tires. The country club in lake view is ten times better and cheaper so I’d rather just save my money. Didn’t even finish all 18 holes because we were having such a terrible time but luckily got a rain check that I will definitely not be using.
Great course for driving and approach shots. Greens are not reliable, but all else is good. It gets crowded on the weekends and play is slow. Mostly with groups of 1s and 2s. Also, lots of pine trees getting smacked by balls, so keep your eye out. Nowhere is safe from flying balls. Can't beat the price.
