Club Wyndham Inn on Long Wharf

Four of us were in the room. I left my coats the last day. I called first thing that next morning. No coats were found. We all know I left them in the room. I called for a week. No coats. I AM NOT sure you can trust housekeeping.||The rooms there are not the nicest. Need remodeling. The location is good

Its one of my favorite places, we been there 3 separate times. I have never had a bad experience. Great location for just about everything in Newport. I would recommend ot highly. One of the only reasons I keep my timeshare is for places like this.

BAIT and SWITCH!! Do not stay here!|I booked a room in January 2025 for a stay from July 22-25 for 3 adults in a King suite with harbor views at Club Wyndham Inn on Long Wharf.|When we arrived we were given a room in a different building in a different hotel at Club Wyndham Long Wharf across the street at 5 Washington st. This room was in an old building with damage to the doors and entranceways to other rooms in the hallway. Our room had a double bed instead of a king and had a view of the parking lot and the dumpsters instead of the harbor view king bed we had paid for. We went to the front desk and we were told that this is a time share and they gave our room to the people that were part of the time share even though it was confirmed. We did not realize when we booked the weekend of Oct 31-Nov 2 with the Club Wyndham Inn that this property is not a hotel, but a time share. The reservation was made through booking.com, which pays the owner of the property for our weekend spent in their time share. I paid $540.00 for two nights, deducted from my account 1 week prior to using the property. The Club Wyndham is not paid for us to use the property, as booking,com makes the reservation directly with the owner. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and looked forward to spending the weekend in Newport, after a few days on Nantucket Island.
