Cliffhouse Townhomes at Lutsen

We stayed at Unit 675 and it was an amazing experience! It is so close to Lutsen and allows enough space to host a big group of friends! Grand Marais is only 15 minutes away which offers a variety of shopping and dining experiences. The best part of this unit are the views. Today, we saw ships in the distance on the lake. Appliances are updated and many family friendly games available. We are looking forward to our next trip to the North Shore and will definitely book this unit again!

While the townhomes are clean with lovely views, my first impression upon arriving was “do better.” Here’s why…A luxury townhouse should accommodate guests if they arrive slightly before check in time. We arrived at 3:30pm after an 4hr drive, assuming we could surely get into our unit at that time. The keyless entry did not work until 4pm on the dot. I’d recommend being more considerate to guests, knowing most are traveling long distances and would like to get settled, even if it is 30 minutes before check in. Having to sit in the parking lot with a cranky car just starts the vacation off in a bad mood.

Great place for small groups! Spacious with tons of amenities. Perfect spot to base from for your north shore adventures, all at a reasonable rate. Just minutes from Lutsen Resort (good xc ski trails nearby too, if that’s your thing). Location is quiet with stunning views of Lake Superior. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic views of Lake Superior from this unit. Located in a great location. Across the street from Superior national golf course. Lots of fun activities happening in the area. Great hiking and unforgettable views. the bike trails are amazing.

Accomodations were really nice with a huge suite upstairs along with another bedroom with bath. Main floor was nice as well with plenty of room to hang out. Very close to Superior National golf course so great for a guys golf weekend.
