Classic Inn

I have been frequently staying here off and on for for a couple of months now.And every time I come, the staff is very hospitable.They go the extra mile to accommodate me. The pricing is worth it. I honestly enjoy staying here.

Would give no stars if I could. It was filthy. The entire place. They say they are “remodeling”. Some of which I could look past. Although most ppl or hotels would have put all the mattresses and furniture into ONE room during this time instead of lined down all the hallways. Carpets were not vacuumed ANYWHERE. The room we were in was disgusting. The tub hadn’t seen cleaning in probably ever!! The filth was everywhere. Bugs and hair in the tub. Toilets were stained with hard water. That I could get past since I wouldn’t actually touch the inside of the toilet and I’ve lived in places that had extremely hard water so I can understand how it could be tricky to keep it “new” looking if that were the case. Dirty, smells dirty, I am so glad we had a blanket because we did not lift up the covers, outdated, owners look like they don't put in the effort to make it look nice or even presentable, torn curtains and shower curtain, walls are stained, we got this for family weekend at Texas State, yes it was cheap for this was too much. Definitely will not be staying here ever again and so not recommended.

Hotel is nice! Beds are comfortable and it's nice and quiet. Rooms are large and comfortable. The staff are very nice and helpful! Rooms are clean and carpeted! My autistic son and I stayed here and HE even loved it and if you understand the pickiness of autism, you know that's huge!! Definitely recommend this place!

Came to San Marcos to visit some friends and have a week long vacation with my son. The outside of the hotel is very inviting. The staff are very friendly and quick to help with anything you need. The rooms are spacious and they have a refrigerator and microwave. They even have a desk which was great for my son to use to play on his gaming system. Definitely will stay here again!!! The price is very affordable and it's close to EVERYTHING!!!
