Clarion Pointe McDonough

My family and I had such a great experience at this hotel! From the moment we checked in, the customer service representatives were incredibly welcoming, patient, and helpful with anything we needed. They truly made us feel at home. The breakfast was another highlight — It made starting each day so easy and stress-free. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and definitely family-friendly. We felt safe, relaxed, and well taken care of the entire stay. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re traveling with kids or just want a place with great service and a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I stayed at Clarion Pointe in McDonough, Georgia with my family, and we booked four rooms. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. All of the rooms were in terrible condition—dirty, unkempt, and completely unacceptable for paying guests. The mattresses and bedding were stained (see attached photos), and it was obvious the rooms had not been properly cleaned or maintained. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable, especially with children. We expected a basic but clean and safe place to stay, but instead were met with unsanitary conditions across all four rooms. For the price we paid, this was unacceptable. I asked for a refund and had to book another hotel. The level of filth was unsanitary and I will be reporting this to the health department. I woul

Filthy hotel don’t clean or take care of property. Floors are dirty, rooms are full of mold and the hotel smells. They rush you out and make you wait long to check in

The lady at the front desk was nice and the hotel is in a good location, however it is filthy. A machine (I’m assuming it was an Air purifier) was running in the hallway of the second floor. The carpet was extremely filthy on the way to my room (see attached photo) Once I walked into the room, the filthy smell magnified. I was trying to give it the benefit of the doubt because the lady at the front was nice and I was embarrassed to have to tell her I had to leave due to the smell. I started to set my stuff down on the bed but stopped when I noticed specks of blood stains on the comforter. I wish I would’ve taken a picture and shared that, however I was so upset with my husband for booking it and had him on FaceTime to show him what he had booked. Very nice, remodeled from a different chain. Well maintained with professional staff. A small exercise room well equipped. One w/d cc or coin operated. Continental breakfast. Room very clean with modern bathroom with good water pressure.
