Clarion Inn Murfreesboro Old Fort Pkwy

To begin with, management broke into our room at 12:30 am. We were sleeping and bam! They're demanding we exit the room. They did not identify themselves until later. We thought we were being robbed or worse.It was a very frightening experience, to say the least. Found out the next morning (after much time was lost trying to find the manger) that because of their faulty record keeping we weren't supposed to be in that room. ||Additionally we paid for an upgraded room. We were placed in a basic room. We complained so they switched us. Room was marginally better. ||Laying in bed, looking up and seeing bugs walking across the ceiling, that was particularly disturbing.||Thought we'd use the pool. Dirty, no towels, pool was freezing. Thought we'd try the hot tub. Not even luke warm, no working

This was probably the absolute weirdest hotel experience I have in a long time. I was traveling home from a long road trip with my husband and kids and we picked this hotel off of Expedia based on the reviews there stating how great the indoor pool was. And yes - the pool IS great for what it is. The hot tub is also a decent size. With that being said - everything else about this hotel was just weird or a mixed bag. Not bad. Just odd. Apparently the locals come here to rent out one of the party spaces and then some will stay later to take advantage of The pool and to keep the party going. At the time we were there there was a baby shower in the party space right next to the pool and there was a 50th birthday party on another one of the party spaces and the restaurant/bar was having some so

This hotel was a dump. It had an unpleasant odor. The Hallways had trash and debris in them. The handle on the backdoor entrance was broken with exposed wiring- Anyone could enter. The keycard didn’t work and the worker said it’s because we got too far away. The only elevator was broken on two separate occasions. The are sketchy people living there. Pretty sure some escorting is going on too. Do not recommend.

The hotel is dated, but the price makes it worth considering. The room wasn't disgustingly dirty, but it could have been cleaned a little better. I wouldn't reserve a room if the pool, hot tub, a quiet experience or the bar/grille are a priority. There isn't an actual restaurant on site. The bar serves appetizers as well as the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast wasn't bad. It included eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, cereal, apples, bagels, cream cheese, milk, juice and coffee. The rooms that surround the pool and hot tub area have more late night noise because the pool is open very late. I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub area. The staff was friendly and helpful. No issues with checking in or out. I used cash for the $100 required deposit and it was refunde

The bed was hard and pillows lumpy. Missing tv remote. Says free breakfast, but the clerk didn't inform me that it's done by 9 am. The room was decent, but in need of repairs ~ specifically going into the bathroom. Clean and fresh smelling.
