Clarion Inn Fredericksburg North

From the time we got here the man at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! Check in was wonderful! Room was convenient! Hotel is close to so many things! Restaurants in walking distance! We felt safe! My daughter and husband both told me that from now on when we stay in fredricksburg to book here! The breakfast is AMAZING TOO! not just a grab and go!

Checked in late at night. First room assignment. Keys did not unlock doors. Reception assigned us another room. Room was clean but cold. The heating didn't work. We managed to keep ourselves comfortable and sleep for a few hours through the night. Complimentary breakfast was fine. Personel was very friendly.

This place should not even be open for business. It appears to be a homeless camp / drug motel. I booked 3 rooms for family for one night, 6 adults and 2 children. No cars parked near rooms, no lights by some rooms, tape around areas, homeless people laying on the walkway, dealers standing in front of some rooms, and tents in the back! The rooms smelled of smoke and mildew and this place was obviously not meant for families or anyone to stay. You can see exactly what it is. It’s a shame that the very nice manager has to manage this place. He was very nice and even apologized when I told him we could not stay there. I should have read the reviews first myself! Lesson learned!

Great value for the price we booked at. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi was good, and the overall decor was nice. The Wednesday night shift manager who checked me in was super friendly. I walked into the room with the heat already running, which made it comfortable right away.

The room was really bad. First there was an overwhelming smell when you walked into the room and in the morning I saw a room deodorizer hanging from the door. I assume they were trying to mask the smell of urine. The carpet must have been recently cleaned because they were still wet and it made everything damp by the morning. One of the sinks must be clogged because it would not empty. I am physically handicapped and was told that the room was handicap accessible. Well yes I could get into the room but the bathroom was definitely not accessible to me. I cannot step over a tub to get into the shower. There should be a high toilet and walk-in shower. Please do not tell anyone you have rooms for handicapped people. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and whoever did your caulking should give
