City Express by Marriott Charlotte South End

It is very clean and the staff at the front desk had excellent customer service skills and was very pleasant to work with. Good coffee and breakfast included and when I stayed, the person handling refreshing the food and checking on customers was delightful. Definitely five stars for the price. Highly recommend

I had a fantastic stay at City Express by Marriott in Charlotte, NC. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location was super convenient—close to the airport, highways, and restaurants and nice breweries. Perfect Location. Great value for the price. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Charlotte!

This hotel was very comfortable and cozy. I particularly like the location. Free parking and next to a train stop. Michelle was the front desk host. She was very nice and helpful. She was very accommodating. I will stay here again.

Front desk team was friendly and welcoming. The room was well kept and clean, no complaints. The provided breakfast was good and the staff kept the area tidy.

This is a great “budget” Marriott property so it allowed me to get my Bonvoy credits for about 100$ vs the 400$ night at Renaissance which was sold out the night I needed it. The reviews I’ve seen are misleading and some people don’t understand what a “budget friendly” hotel is…. This new concept is exceptional and I’m a seasoned business traveler who understands you ge t what you pay for … this exceeds that concept. The renovations are quite nice and modern. The breakfast area is adequate -atleast they offer it and you don’t even get that option at other Marriott properties ! I loved the espresso machine in the lobby -it’s a major perk! Henry was at the front desk that night when I checked in and was super helpful and friendly!!!! Michelle helped me the next day and was also quite nice-
