Casablanca Inn

Lame. This place advertises beautiful views of the ocean from spacious rooms/suites. What we got was a cramped suite with a view of the parking lot. We’d booked a Family Room and the photos on their website show pictures of a bed in a large room with plenty of space to walk around and additional furniture. The second bedroom shown is smaller but still adequate.||What we got was one room with a bed that took up most of the space and had no storage for luggage as the small closet was repurposed as the “kitchen.” There were no nightstands, lamps, desks, chairs, etc. Just a bed and a table with a TV on it. Also, the heat/AC unit didn’t work so the room was very cold. The other bedroom was so small that the bed took up nearly all of the floor space - so much so that the door only opened about h

Would not recommend staying here with out booking ahead of time! Arrived at 2pm and was told they had 1 room available and took it since the location was great! The room was expensive but last minute and great location we decided to. We had to wait 3 hours for our room to be ready since someone switched out of our room for another one on property. When we arrived to the room I can see why they switched rooms. AC was only available in one of the two bedrooms and the one without was extremely warm. The door to the second bedroom would not open all the way without hitting the bed! The view was awful, it was at the back of the property with tiny windows. It appeared to be an old building that was retro-fitted for rooms. The other rooms on property looked amazing with a nice view of the ocean

The location was great, but that’s about it! This hotel was filthy. I've actually never stayed in such a horribly kept hotel before. This is not just an "older" hotel issue. The hotel room floor was disgusting. There was something all over the floor, debris of some sort. Clearly had not been mopped. We couldn't even walk on the bare floor without our feet being black. Everything else was dirty as well. The water tray, refrigerator, the base of the bed was metal and filthy. The bathroom was decent but sat down on the toilet, and the seat was completely loose and nearly slid off the toilet. It also had a foul sewer smell which I assume was coming from the shower. The room also smelled like mildew. Tried to talk to front desk several times, but always a handwritten sign saying they'd be back

We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean and tidy. The beds were really comfortable. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Looks like they are upgrading the rooms, so there is some work being carried out. Lots of parking available - which there is a charge for, so no free parking. We were upgraded to a beach view room which was superb. Happily stay there again and recommend to all.

Positive: Everything! The room was clean, a great size, unreal view I can go on! I?m from Cali and left for a number of reasons. One thing I can?t replace is the sound and smell of the ocean! Slept with the door slightly open and that wonderful sound of the waves. Negative: Parking is a bit tough. I have a truck and it can be a bit challenging. To be honest, didn?t care the place is a gem! When going back I won?t stay anywhere else!
