Carl's Guest House

We just returned from our 4th visit to Carl's Guest House. We usually go up to Ptown the week after Labor Day each year. Carl and Ken are very friendly and they make you feel at home. Carl's is very well located, on Bradford Street, and a short one block walk puts you on Commercial Street right near Spiritis Pizza. Carl's is clean, there are 3 shared bathrooms with showers and a small deck on the upper level, and I think 11 rooms. Carl and Ken are very attentive to their guests needs and there is always an interesting conversation! Carl's is a great value right in the heart of Ptown and is a place that you can't go wrong with.

Well it has been another year staying at Carl's Guest House and we realize that this is the only place for us when we come to Provincetown. It is truly like being at home with Carl and Ken and other guests that we have previously met. ||after talking to other visitors in town we discovered the great price bargain we get at Carl's...our room is always comfy...(great beds) and only one block up from Commercial Street and all that goes on in town. In the mornings it is so nice to go to the "living room" where Carl has the best coffee brewing and a chance to chat and make friends with others in the house before we start the day downtown. Carl's Guest House is a true guesthouse which is what I find so charming. Staying at Carl's is like staying at a friends home. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Most rooms do not have private baths but there are 3 baths in the house so there is always one available. Most rooms have a sink in the room. To keep the house social, there is one central living room with coffee, a shared fridge and microwave, and a television with cable TV. This room is the heart of the home where you will make new friends. The grounds are landscaped beautifully and the house is centrally located just a block from Commercial Street right in the middle of all the action. I have been staying with Carl for probably 15 years and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Both Ken and Carl are true "hosts" and make you feel like part of the family. I've made lifelong friendships there and look forward to what has now become an annual trip. If you're looking for a high end boutique hotel, this isn't for you but if you are social and want to make new friends, this is the place to stay!

Carl's Guest House is a wonderful place to stay in Provincetown. My partner and I recently stayed there for a week and had a great time! The house is conveniently located, near the center of town and all attractions are within walking distance. There are a variety of rooms with shared baths and some with private baths, depending on your preferences. The rooms are all clean and well-maintained and very reasonably priced. There is a deck for sunbathing and a common room where you can socialize with other guests. We made several new friends there during our recent stay.In addition, the yard is beautifully landscaped and maintained, so it is a treat walking by it each day!
