Carefree Inn

This should be half a star to no stars, meaning ZERO...First off the daytime lady was very ||rude and impatient. However they where middle eastern and was talking in a langauge, behind your back. The card i receive was funny, on the front it was a advertisement||prescription discount card and on the back it was the card key. Inside, the room reeked of ||a old musty smell. the room is wide but small, over to one wall lays a big ole' 90s TV on this long wide cheap looking dresser drawer. next to that is a mini fridge, it works and on top is a microwave. Next to that is a walk in closet. Next is the bathroom, it was clean to say the least but small. Back to the bed itself is a bit hard, but comfy. The top blanket is riddle with cigarette holes. We moved back here because it felt safer here do to my condition and considering the fact that since 2019 up un til 06/01/2026 this place had been our home. They still don't treat us like people but always claimed that we were like family to them. They came up with all these unnecessary rules for us to follow when we came back and so far we done everything they asked but because we were a little late this morning they tried to charge us 25 dollars extra! After patronage for 9 years. So we paying 60 dollars going on the 10th year...and now they acting like asking for extra roll of tp is a crime. I think somewhere down the line they forgot that they used to be homeless too, in their own Country!

Bed comfortable. Not a lot of outlets. Only 1 coffee cup, no ice bucket liner. Water did not get very hot and shower head was old and sprayed out the top. Toilet not that clean, no sink stopper. Check in person was nice, but did not know if/when coffee would be made (had a small coffee pot in reception area). Decent place with some annoyances.

I've been in dallas over a year now and each and every time I've tried to get a room they claim is full but no cars are in the parking lot well maybe like 2 but I'm not understanding how it's possible even my husband's family said they have never been able to get a room here its crazy

If they know you they will give you a good price and always have rooms available for you. Its kind of hidden, and they always have the same guys in the same corner rooms all the time. Cars come in and out, the beds are horrible! Bed bugs, bad smell, no microwave or refrigerator in most rooms and the guy in the front desk always tries to flirt with you. Its good to use as las option or when money is tight, but I do not sleep when I decide to stay here.
