Capri Motel Santa Cruz

Stayed here for about a week. Rooms are just okay. Noticed some other reviews mentioned it not being clean but my room was fine. No maid service during your stay but you can ask for fresh towels at the front. The rooms are loud due to the location. I’m still waiting for the deposit back and was charged an additional fee on check out. I’m not 100% sure what the fee is for but noticed they marked my check out time at 11:30am even though we checked out at 10am. I’m assuming it’s a late check out fee? Seems a bit shady. I live in town and wouldn’t stay here again if I needed somewhere to stay while repairs were done on my home.

Stay was nice room clean and staff very friendly. I forgot some stuff and they kept it safe for me. Till I could return the next day it was very appropriated and it was walking distance from everything. Thanks Again.

My mom and I decided to get away for the night. Finding a room in the summer is difficult in this town if you don’t want to pay an outrageous price. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and the tile floors are nice. Water pressure in the shower is excellent! You have to ask for a blow dryer and there isn’t coffee in the room but you can get it in the lobby. Location is great you can walk right to the boardwalk and warf. I would bring the kids and stay here again.

The gentleman was nice but I needed a ground room I don't want to really want to be in this area the buses don't run they changed everything that makes it so hard for me no disrespect attended it wasn't a place that matches me and to let everybody know I am not no Google reviewer wanting points or anything it just wasn't my match the price was fine but I really needed to be on the other side of the bridge it's better for other people just not for me please visit it Elite better for you not for my disabilities he was very understanding

Complaint Statement (English): I would like to file a complaint regarding this property. The environment and service are extremely poor. Although they advertise cheap prices on booking platforms, when you arrive, they inform you that a deposit is required. However, on the receipt, the deposit amount is not clearly separated from the room fee. Instead, everything is written together as “room fee.” This creates the false impression that the deposit will be refunded, but in reality, it is not. They deliberately manipulate the receipts in a way that prevents the booking platform from processing disputes. As a result, the final bill turns into an unreasonably high room charge, forcing customers to pay an outrageous price for a terrible room.
