Canoe On Inn

This place was perfect for our stay in Ely. Beds and Pillows were perfect, and the bathrooms had great water pressure/temp while looking new and clean. Other amenities also included a fridge, coffee, and they even had a complementary boot dryer in both of our rooms which we loved! We also really appreciated the contactless check in which made our incoming quick and easy. Would definitely stay here again for sure, and this is definitely worth your money.

We had a great experience staying here overnight in September. Clean rooms, affordable. Hot coffee and cookies in the morning. Shauna was helpful in steering us to places to eat and also gave us a discount ticket for the International Wolf Center.||My spouse is in a wheelchair and we had no trouble getting a ground floor room and a room we could easily navigate in.

Our group stayed in the family suite the night before a fall Boundary Waters trip. The suite was clean and comfortable. The price was great - 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen for less than we have paid for 2 hotel rooms in the past. Shawna was extremely easy to work with. Overall it was a great experience. I will stay here on future trips.

Very basic small rooms and no frills. The price was about $45 too high. The traffic could be heard very clearly from the 2nd floor room. Purchased my reservation through a 3rd party for 2 queen beds but the front desk would only give us 2 doubles. Plus put us on the 2nd floor with icy exterior steps that our 94 yr.old father needed to climb. She was very unaccomodating. I would personally never stay in this hotel again.

We traveled with a group on motorcycles and the owner was wonderful to work with on reservations. She was very patient with our large group and answered all of their questions regarding restaurants, etc. We stayed in one of the larger rooms and it was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is great for walking downtown or driving to local sites. It is one of the few hotels in the area that allows a one night stay and gets good reviews. I would stay there again.
