Candlewood Suites Springfield North, an IHG Hotel

Overall we had a good experience. The location was convenient for us. The employees were friendly and the service was good. The hotel just needs a lot of updates, repairs and love. We would stay here again.

Had some renovations that took the water offline at the house so made a reservation to hold us through until the project finished and then when we showed up to complete check in they asked us to leave as they don't rent to locals. Apparently they feel small local families rent and then trash the place so are not allowed to stay at their hotels, So me my wife and infant were not welcome. I m going to avoid this chain from now on as rejection at check in even after making a reservation for no real reason can really screw up planning and cause stress.

Mega friendly staff at the front desk! Very handy and convenient market in the lobby. Well appointed bathroom and kitchen. I could crank down the A/C as much as I wanted. Bed was very comfy. Immediate area isn’t perfect but I’d stay here again.

We originally booked our stay at the Candlewood North Glenstone location, but a tornado came through and took out 4 power poles, thus, cutting the power to the motel. The staff then contacted and made arrangements for us to transfer to the Candlewood South location on Republic Road. This motel honored our rates secured with the north location. The staff at both motels was exceptional. The suite was amazing! I heartily recommend both locations!

First glance, they fenced in the property, the parking lot is clean and a few handicap parking for people like me. The trolley are right inside the door for luggage move. The staff is helpful and friendly. Free coffee is at the small pantry but it is stocked with other items in vending machines. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would recommend.
