Candlewood Suites Lancaster West by IHG

I don’t know why this place has so many bad reviews, but we have a beautiful room , a kitchen with absolutely EVERYTHING you need to cook and feel at home. They have a fully stocked little store with way more options than most hotels. We travel for work at least once a month , this will be one we stop at again!!! People at the desk very nice and welcoming, rooms clean and extremely comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this place

The rooms are spacious, but not clean. Shelves were dusty, pillowcases were stained, sheets were stained (obvious, offensive stains that could have been bleached out, textuted stains...I questioned how well the sheets were washed). There were many towels provided as well as utensils, plates, etc. Cathy at the front desk had an amazing attitude. There is a great bagel place walking distance and a fish store that's almost like a free aquarium. This place could be really nice if they expand their cleaning staff!!

Positive: Location. Room was exactly what we expected. Negative: Never did understand billing at check-out time. Would of like a Continental Breakfast.'. It was the one thing we didn't appreciate.

The hotel is run down and barely clean enough. The towels were stained and the glassware in the cupboards was not clean. The mattress needed replacing and the fitted sheet kept coming off the mattress. The desk staff was pleasant, though. Would not stay here again.

This place was the worse place we’ve ever stayed in. There is no guest quiet time, so kids and people are running up and down the halls at all hours of the night. There seems to be no staff around so people are doing all kinds of things such as yelling and or burning fireworks in the parking lot… The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors using the toilet, or simply having a conversation. It was the worse place I’ve ever stayed in. This place needs a remodel with better staff and better walls!
