Cambria Hotel Austin Airport

Everything was wonderful ESPECIALLY the front desk check-in personnel/experience & the bartenders! Amazing ladies ❤️ The shower is awful, it’s the only reason I may not stay again, honestly, and I know you (mgmt/employees) cannot control that, but corporate can! It’s so cold with the huge gap (no door or curtain), the shower head isn’t adjustable (impossible to rinse certain areas), no privacy if someone else is in the bathroom at the vanity (friends & spouses still want privacy when showering), water gets everywhere, the floor of the shower is SO SLICK that it’s dangerous. Beautiful tile but too smooth. Also shaving legs is almost impossible (goosebumps, nowhere to prop foot, water everywhere because shower head is un-adjustable), and no vent means steam everywhere/no one can use mirror w

My husband and I decided on a last-minute spousal getaway and chose to stay at the Cambria Hotel in Austin, Texas. As the Front Office Manager in Houston, I booked our stay in advance and called ahead to request a higher-floor room. Linda, the agent who assisted me, was professional, warm, and very informative, and she accommodated my request without issue. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Misty, whose welcoming demeanor made check-in smooth and efficient. Our room was spacious, very clean, and offered a beautiful pool view. I also took time to explore the property and was pleasantly impressed. The best sleep I’ve had in the last two years. I’m constantly traveling and this hotel stands out as the most comfortable! I sunk into the bed - high quality, crisp sheets, the best pillows, clean, nicely laid out, perfect! ||I want to recreate my experience. Cambria should sell the bedding so we can enjoy the same level of comfort at home. ||I’m so impressed. I love this place and will seek out Cambria hotels in my future travels.

For the number of times I’ve stayed in Austin, I can’t believe I’m just now discovering the Cambria Hotel near the airport. The hotel itself is fantastic—impeccably clean, modern, and very well maintained. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference after a long travel day. The proximity to the airport is a huge plus and makes travel days stress-free. My only disappointment was the on-site restaurant, which I really wanted to love because of how convenient it is. Unfortunately, the food missed the mark. We ordered two soups that arrived cold. Sent them back. The nachos were bone-dry and short on Big Texas flavor, and sadly the bread pudding we ordered to share was more like big dried croutons—lacking moisture, they didn’t even ice cream or sauce to bal

We were very disappointed in your hotel this time. We've stayed there many times before but this time everything seemed different. Our room (105) was not clean. Did not look swept and the sheets were stained. There was a water stain on the ceiling. The sofa was worn and seemed unstable and even one of the lamp's bulbs was not working. Most of the staff was very indifferent, hardly communicated...terrible customer service! The front desk person who checked us in was OK- she was at least polite. But the only really great service we received was from McKensie last evening in the restaurant/bar. We are sad to say we will not be back after many great visits. And will not recommend your hotel and might even post about it on social media- that is how disappointed we were!
