Burntside Lodge

Burntside Lodge is set on a beautiful lake. The cabins are well stocked and in immaculate condition. We enjoyed all our meals in the Dinning room. Well prepared dishes that were flavorful.||But what really sets this place apart is the genuine warmth of the hosts and all the staff. We enjoyed informative conversations and almost neighborly talks with the hosts and staff.||We gazed at stars from the dock and enjoyed kayaking on the lake.

Wow! The chicken was the best I’ve ever had. The house made manhattan was amazing, great views of the lake and can’t wait to go back! Delicious! Definitely must stop in Ely.

This is a beautiful resort in the middle of the Northwoods!!!! When I left something behind the owner mailed it back to me. I sent her a check for helping me out and she returned the check uncashed. Not many places in this world exist like this one.

We stayed at Burntside lodge for our Honeymoon July 2025, the owner checked us in and gave us info on local attractions. Her and her staff are very amazing. The beach at the lodge is great, they have a fitness center, sauna, boat rentals and many cabins to choose from etc. We will definitely be back again.
