Budget Lodge

Recent changes and upgrades are going quite well and they now have WiFi for the rooms. Due to personal issues I've had no other choice but to live in this hotel for six to seven years now. When I first moved in it was shabby, rundown, and the room we were put in had bloodstains on the ceiling. This explained the front desk clerks' disheveled reaction when he told me that he only had room 341 available. I didn't think much of it in the moment but quickly understood after entering the room. Over my extended period of time living at the Budget Lodge, I have dealt with disturbing neighbors, bed bugs, fleas, roaches, and seen many building managers come and go. The positive: The rooms are decent. Comfortable bed, cable tv, mini fridge & microwave. The property is clean. The Housekeeping ladies are friendly & do a great job. The atmosphere is peaceful & quiet most of the time. Contry Restaurant (not affiliated with the motel) is on the property & they have wonderful food! They are pet friendly with a deposit & extra fee.||||||Negatives: The staff is unbelievably rude & hateful! This includes the folks in the office, the two Security/Maintenance men & the wicked Bipolar Manager, Shannon. ||||The Manager goes into full FITmode, screaming like an insane person if you say or do anything that isn't to her liking. She totally goes off on somebody at least once a day. She brings her crying baby to work on a daily basis, & her Rotweiler dog

The rooms are good for the price, they're doing a beautiful remodel to a lot of the rooms. Never have any issues with the employees, they're always very kind and so helpful. They're next to highway that's got construction going on right now so it's fairly loud during the day but at night almost always quiet. There is a restaurant there as well that has some of the best food, sweetest servers and excellent prices too! I love it there

Absolutely ridiculous! The roach problem is out of control for one. The manager told me sorry, we provide pest control. After spending $25 on products they were STILL dropping off the ceilings, literally. The motel has caught fire & instead of fixing the burned section they're working on the rooms. What this means to you is loud banging & going extended periods with the water turned off. you will not get advance warning & they can't tell you how long it will be off. All through the night screaming, fighting, lights & sirens. I found a needle 3 doors down from where my kids & I were staying. I contacted the office to let them know & 2 days later I notice it's still there. These owners/operators truly do not care. I had paid $217 for one week, one person, and one bed with no smoking room. It has no microware; it was said, will changing room for me on next day. After ento the room, on the first two hours I had smell smoking; so that I retune the key to them. but they don't have no smoking room, and not retune money to me. Nothing I can do , when I come back later I need staying in again, asked next day for no smoking room. On the night the smoking smell very bad. I could not stand that. next day, before the check out time, I move all my stuff out the room and return the key to motel front dest; tell them I retune the room; I need no smoking room. But they said they don't have no smoking room. You only stay in the room until get no smoking room. Or check out. I said I am out the room, not goback th
