The hotel was conveniently located, and the staff was both professional and helpful.

It started with their website-http://www.budgethostinnbristolva.com/, we knew it would be a funny trip at the least. Everything on the site is mis-spelled and in the photo gallery section, in lieu of pictures of the modest property, there are photos of flowers and sunsets. We stayed here as it was the only hotel within walking distance of historic State Street, and that was indeed true. At check in the lady behind the desk was not a great English speaker and she hands you your room's remote along with your key, which is almost always the sign of a sketchy place. Nothing to brag about really. Rooms are out of date and delapidated. Much need of an update. Management is a bit finicky. Way overpriced for what you get. You can go to Extended Stay for 20 bucks cheaper and get free breakfast in the am

The book definitely doesn't match the cover. Rooms are clean and updated. They do not smell of smoke. The value for the location close to Bristol Motor Speedway was amazing. Great place to lay your head after a day of traveling.

They don't leave wash cloths or towels in the rooms you have to walk to the office when you need em , they say they'll bring em , forget, multiple times
