Briarwood Motel Near Valdosta University I 75

Rooms are disgusting have roaches running around. Manager does not have any people skills and is extremely rude and thinks she can do as she pleases with guest. Towels are tiny. Burn holes in sheets and blankets even in the non smoking rooms. Box springs are disgusting. The staff feeds cats inside the office so if you are allergic to them stay away. Worst experience I have had at a hotel period and I travel all over for work room next to me said they had bed bugs and notified management and they did nothing about it. Me and my boyfriend stayed there a few nights and had a great stay. I read some of the reviews and they seemd harsh and unfair. Yes you had to put a 5 dollar refundable deposit on the remote and key. But its only a 5 dollar deposit which you get back. The internet had a strong signal and had no problems with it. Pool was clean the beds were clean and confortable. Room were nice and old fashion. Which was nice and had a home feeling to it. The guy that checked us I. Was really nice and friendly. Even opened the door for use to come in. I wpuld stay here again.

Alfonso is awesome! He cares about his guests. And he recommended a local food place. And the office sells cheaper snacks than the store.

Wow. We were looking for a place to rest after evacuations were ordered in Florida. Most hotels were completely booked by the time we left. This hotel had a few rooms. The clerk offered to show us one of the rooms before we checked in. We took a look at it and decided we were going to stay because there was nowhere else to go. She did explain that the rooms were under Renovations and we were being placed in one of the nicer rooms. I guess nice is a matter of judgment. It was an odd experience. But, what I can say is that this was one of the best nights of sleep we have ever gotten. The bed was extremely comfortable. The water was really hot in the showers and everything was nice and clean. This is a place that we would visit again. So if you're looking for a place to sleep and a hot show

We were impressed! Better than most in this price range. Very clean bathroom fridge and microwave! With our dog too, very happy. I hope other people realize roaches are everywhere in southern Georgia
